How to achieve more

I met someone this week who exclaimed “Oh, are you THE Phil Strong?”  Somewhat nervous, I had to confirm – especially as it was a friend who had just introduced me!

It turns out this lady had purchased my book on Amazon only 30 minutes earlier and was a bit surprised to bump into me in the eastern suburbs of Hamilton.  Don’t we all live in a small village called “The Earth”?!

The process of getting my book Becoming Money Wise published on Amazon has been a learning experience for me, as digital publishing is not my expertise.  But it’s opened my eyes to a whole new paradigm, well, new for me at least!  And that’s the point of today’s article.

What are you doing to expand your mind and achieve more with your life?

As a success coach and leader I often ask this question to the people I work with.  For me it’s the stimulus of challenge that causes me to grow, and I think we’re wired like that as human beings.  For instance;

  • When I want to be stronger, I stretch my muscles.
  • When I want to have more confidence in the future, I stretch my faith.
  • When I want to enjoy financial rewards, I put my money to work.
  • When I want to grow, I stretch my mind with challenging paradigms.

In this past week I have attended one Conference and one workshop.  Both of these events cost me financially to attend and required a sacrifice of time to be there.  But that investment also provided me a return – and that return was an expanded mind.

I’m looking forward to meeting the people who are coming to the Wisemoney seminar in Hamilton this coming week.  Why?  Because I know that they will have open minds that are ready for challenge.  How do I know this?  Because they have made the same sacrifice as I have – a sacrifice of time and money – a sacrifice willingly made in order to grow and improve their life.

And it’s people like that who I can help get the best results possible.

Will I see you there?
