Are you financially flabby?
Flabby. It’s not a description any of us would appreciate if it was said about us. If you were the defensive type you may offer an excuse like “being cuddly is good for our relationship”. What on earth does being flabby have to do with your finances?
Have you had a look at your finances lately? Are they getting a little out of shape because of a lack of good exercise? If you think you’re at risk of being (or becoming) financially flabby then let’s agree to do something about it.
Action. It’s the key to your financial health. Let me correct that slightly. Repeated healthy actions, they’re what you want. A muscle is strengthened by repeating a stretch and contraction motion. This is what you are doing by lifting weights, running, walking, and it’s what your heart muscle is doing when you exercise it. What you need is a healthy action, repeated often.
An example of a healthy action repeated often is a regular payment to a savings account, or keeping up-to-date with recording your income/spending so you know what is happening with your finances.
The challenge I have for you is this:
What are 2 healthy actions you can begin this month and repeat on a regular basis?
